I have been to Badaling many years ago and if tourist oriented destination is what you are looking Yangshuo is a small village 1.5 hours bus ride away from Guilin. Some of you must have heard about the gorgeous karst peaks and hills scattered in Guilin. In my opinion Yangshuo is even better. The much smaller city, the closer distance to some of the karst hills and the less modern village I have been always wanted to hike Mt. Huangshan. Many people told me about the beauty of this mountain. However always there are things poped up on my schedule which conflict with my holiday trip to hike this majestic mountain until this very day....
